Fees

Self Paying Fees

If you are paying for your own treatment you will be asked to settle the account at or before the time of treatment. We accept all major credit and debit cards and payment can be made online, on the phone or in person. Please let us know your preference so we can ensure your invoice and receipt are ready for you.

Insured patients

Our consultants are covered by all major insurance companies. If you are insured, please contact your insurance company prior to your first appointment to clarify what your policy covers and to ensure they will authorise your claim. Once you have received pre-authorisation for your consultation and/or treatment please let our office know in advance of your first appointment. If your insurance company provides you with a new authorisation number during your treatment, please let us know this as soon as possible.

Patients with non-UK based insurance will be asked to pay on the day of treatment. Receipts will be provided so that you are able to claim costs back from your insurance company.

Embassy patients

Letters of guarantee from embassies are accepted, but please inform us of these at the time of booking your appointment and remember to bring this information with you on the day. We may have to charge you directly or decline treatment without your letter of guarantee.

Consultant fees

New consultation - £280

Follow up consultation - £200

Tests and their Cost

Following your initial consultation, further tests may be recommended, specifically: an x-ray, MRI and/or Ultrasound scan. The purpose of these would be to gain more information about what is causing your symptoms and how to treat the problem effectively. We are happy to work with the information from a clinical “working diagnosis” alone if you wish, and if things do not improve, then we can organise those investigations at that stage. Please consider your options carefully.

As the tests recommended are undertaken by the clinic/hospital and not by us, then the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic/hospital and charged to you, or your private medical insurer, separately. Sometimes other consultants will also be involved in those tests (an example being a radiologist reporting on an MRI scan), with their fees being included in the fee the clinic/hospital charges to you.

We would like to see you again for a further appointment to discuss the results of the tests we have recommended. Our fees for follow-up appointments are a maximum of £180.

Please note that unless otherwise advised, the fees detailed above do not include details of any further tests or treatment subsequently recommended or carried out.
